About Lisa Brooks, M.Sc. OT, RCC
Counselling in Vancouver for Neurodiverse Women, Teen Girls, Perinatal Clients, and Parents

I’m Lisa Brooks, a Registered Clinical Counsellor based in Vancouver, BC. My work is informed by over 15 years of advanced clinical training and experience in mental health, neurodiversity, and family support, with a background in rehabilitation sciences and functional skills coaching.
I work with neurodiverse women and teen girls, supporting them through ADHD, autism, burnout, and identity transitions. I also provide perinatal mental health support for new and expecting parents, helping navigate pregnancy, postpartum, and the early parenting years. Many of my clients are parents themselves, and I offer parent coaching for those raising neurodiverse or highly sensitive children.
My approach is collaborative and practical. I draw from Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and nervous system regulation strategies. Sessions blend emotional insight with concrete tools you can use in everyday life.
Alongside individual and family work, I also offer school and community consulting, helping educators and organizations design inclusive programs, support executive functioning, and build emotionally safe environments.
Whether we’re working on self-esteem, relationship patterns, parenting strategies, or professional well-being, my goal is to help you feel understood, grounded, and equipped for what comes next.
